What was that?

What the heck was that game all about?  8 fumbles and something like 14 bad snaps, the worse offensive output in 31 years.  I thought we had been in the top 5 recruiting classes the last 3 years, well where are they?  Lots of questions by opening the season like the Gators did.  USF will kick our behinds if we play like that again on this Sat.

New season starts today

I am really pumped up about the new season starting today.  12 noon and we get see John Brantley run the offense.  Can't wait.

Rookies

I know, I know we are where we are with all of Maddon's changing the lineup on a nightly basis but could we not play rookies and new guys when we are in tight pennat race.  IMO we need to settle down with one line-up for the rest of the season.

Rays Win

Back to being only one game behind the dreaded Yanks.  Good going boys!  I still think we need some serious help at our bats but the Hellicston(?) kid is really working out I'd say.  I think BJ is a great center fielder but his bat sucks.  As low as Pena's average is at least you know he is going to go long every once in a while.  We need some bats - period.

And I guess you arn't suppose to be a critic of Maddon because we are after all only one game out of first but for God's sake enough with juggling of the lineup.

Is this the absolute best or what?  First place again and going.   Good to see Ben Z back.  They are probably grooming him to play first because I don't think Pena is going to be back next year unless he takes a dramatic cut in salary.  But forget about next year.  We have the best team in baseball and it sure is fun.

Nice 4 game sweep of Detroit.   Now the dreaded Yankees.   How sweet would it be to sweep them too.  I understand all 3 games are sold out.  Hey, I thought there weren't any fans.

Way to go Matt Garza!   First no hitter in Rays history and almost a perfect game!  Shoppach gets kudos too.  What a great game to watch.  Go Rays!!!

I guess we have Cleveland's number now.   Maybe we will win 18 in a row now in Cleveland.  After all it is Cleveland.
